Spring 2007 updates

... playing in the snow!!! This is a big rock in the middle of the cul-de-sac in front of our house.
Mmmmmm... bop! A birthday toy. He loves it - still! Here he's working on his vocals! It also is a little piano.
Here's Jonah!! Super under-roos boy! He'd only walk around in underwear all day if we let him. I think these are Transformers. This pic sums up Jonah in a way no words could.

Merrik turns 1!!!

On March 25th, (one day before his bday) G'ma & G'pa Cowden came over for Merrik's 1st birthday party!!

There were presents, cake and lots of new toys to play with!!

Our Little Sleepers

This is how I found Jonah when I went to check on him one night before going to bed. Looks comfy, eh? Luckily he stayed asleep while I straightened him out and put on his blanket. He's even funny in his sleep - ha!

And here's Merrik all jammied out on the kitchen floor. My good news is ... he's FINALLY sleeping thru the night!!! Some of you may not appreciate that but since his birth, there were only a handful of nights that he made it all the way thru. And most of the month of March, he was up 3, 4, 5 times a night! Ugh! Now, with Jared's help and night time intervention, Merrik is a great sleeper. It's been almost 2 weeks now and I feel like a new person. Now, if we could just get Jonah to sleep later than 6:00 am!

Jonah turns 3!!!

We were in Virginia visiting Rach on his actual bday (Feb. 22) so we were able to celebrate at Chucky Cheese with Rach and her family. It was Jonah's first time to a Chucky Cheese and he totally loved it!! AJ showed him the ropes. And even Merrik enjoyed crawling around and exploring there. Then we returned home to MA a few days later and we had another party... yippee! Wow - 3 - what a big boy! I can't believe he's 3 already. We all had fun celebrating his birthday. Next month is Merrik! (Mar. 26)

Just a quick posting to make it official. This is a picture from warmer times here at the Cowden home. I think the temperature was hovering around 'zero' when we woke up this morning. Brrr!!
